Next Steps Evening 1 – 25 April 2024

The evening consisted of a university and employer fair in the Sports Hall, and a number of information talks on university, employment and apprenticeships that were repeated throughout the evening.

Why choose Higher Education?

This talk, delivered by Sheffield Hallam University, introduced the benefits of Higher Education including skill development, career prospects, independence and other aspects of student life.

Student Finance

There are many myths about student finance. This talk, delivered by the University of Hull, discussed student finance in detail and other financial assistance that may be available.

How does ·¬ÇÑÓ°ÊÓ support students to apply for university and higher education?

This talk, delivered by ·¬ÇÑÓ°ÊÓ Staff, outlined how the college has already supported students with the process and what to expect next.

Types of Apprenticeships

This talk, delivered by ·¬ÇÑÓ°ÊÓ staff, introduced the different types of apprenticeships available, the application process and information about the local and national labour market.
